To track ecommerce transactions on your website using Google Analytics , you will need to do two things:
1. Enable ecommerce for your reports2. Configure your shopping cart to send the ecommerce data to Google Analytics

Yep, tracking eCommerce traffic AND transactions is crucial in understanding your online business. Good starting point there… used it many times.
