Tip 1 of 10 – Don’t use Standard Suppliers Product Descriptions

If you use product descriptions that you have been given by your supplier Google can see this as duplicate content and the web pages can be ignored in preference of the suppliers own sites or other competition. Putting a bit extra effort into good quality and original descriptions can make all the difference to being found online and therefore to sales. Create keyword rich links from within the product descriptions of one product linking to another. Make links descriptive don’t use the words ‘more’ or ‘click here’ on link text.
